As i was browsing deviantart i stumbled upon a simple image.
entering the artist profile, the absolutely first thing i caught with my eye was the picture of Doctor Whooves in the
favorite window. I do so not regret clicking.
Looking at this just makes me feel happy inside at the sheer epicness this picture has.
Straight lines and well made structure, with such intense black lines.
Dressing him in the 10th doctor jacket you give us the feel that his voice sounds like David Tennant's wich would be
awesome to see in the actual show.(If only)
The coloring is smooth and accurate and combined with those shadows it is but perfect in all ends, even where the
shadow is but few lines. Your focus on detail really helps with the picture, especially when it comes to the Cutie mark.
Cause of the shadow i'm sure it was a bit bother getting it to look it's best and i'm sure that time was well used.
The effect on the bottom-half of the jacket really makes one think of a cape, and surprisingly fitting as i'm sure
the Doctor is just as big a superhero as superman, i mean he has saved the earth and billions of other planets so often.
(Only thing now missing is a whoosh sound for the cape, but i'm sure we can all just make our own)
The Background is just as great, giving the good old "time" feeling that follows the Doctor wherever he goes.
The mirror effect is also great and 100% accurate!
As well would i like to point out that the Title is fantastic and the first to come to my mind is "Through the fire and flames"
by Dragonforce. And fitting too as the lyrics actually if looked closely at fit the doctor in one way or another. wich also
makes me want to change it and do a Dr.who version of the song.
You have by all means captured the Doctor in all his Glory with great work and effort and you should be congratulated
again and again for this great piece of artwork!
I am definetly faving and watching you(already done) and going to remain vigilant and try to follow your posts as well as
possible.
P.S. This is my first time ever writing a critique on any artwork so i'm sure this could had been done alot better(the critique that is).
So it will make me feel very nice if my critique is accepted!
